What is Royal Jelly?

The honeybee has been one of the greatest friends to mankind for thousands of years, providing honey, pollen, propolis, wax and newly discovered Royal Jelly. Royal Jelly is a thick, milky substance secreted from the pharyngeal between their 6th and 12th days of life after birth. The remarkable energy-creating properties of the substance secreted by the parotid glands in man is in greatest abundance between the ages of 17 and 18. The refined product resulting from the combining of honey and pollen by nature's own process within the young nurse bees is Royal Jelly.

The Miracle of Royal Jelly

In the larvae stage, female larvae are absolutely identical and feed on Royal Jelly for the first three days after hatching. The fertilized eggs give rise to females which are either sexually immature small worker bees or large, fertile Queens. From he fourth day on, only the special larvae selected to become the Queen continues to be fed with Royal Jelly throughout her entire life, while the worker bees are fed on regular honey and pollen. The fascinating discovery by agriculturalists was that nutrition was the only distinctive difference between the worker bees and the Queen.

The Queen Bee is a mother of a quarter of a million bees, and amazingly lays over 2,000 eggs in a single day, a total more than twice her own bodyweight. The life span of the Queen lasts our to five years, contrary to the considerably shorter life of workers-and average of 3 months or less. Royal Jelly is truly a miracle food!

The Pure Natural Food

In the world of bees, they have amazing ability to communicate with each other. The worker bees direct one another to the sources of honey and pollen which have been uncontaminated by agricultural chemical. Their instincts are so highly developed that they naturally avoid harmfulness. In fact, they will instantly die upon inhaling such harmful chemicals. Therefore, Royal Jelly is a safe, pure, and natural food.

Composition

• Pantothenic acid-stress relieving B5 vitamin
• A great amount of other vitamins (especially B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, biotin, folic acid, inositol)
• In negligible quantities: vitamin A, C, D, E
• Calcium, copper, iron, phosphorus, potassium, silicon, sulfur
• Additional components include acetylcholine, anti-bacterial and antibiotic component, a small amount of pollen, and a small percentage of unidentified substance (which are nonetheless important to Royal Jelly's effectiveness)

Therapeutic Indications

• Asthenia (or fatigue) at all levels (during illness and convalescence, post-operative asthenia, overwork, and physical or intellectual exhaustion, of the elderly)
• Anorexia, diverse dyspeptic problems, gastrointestinal ulcers, colic problems, (when the neurovegetaive constituent is predominating), some hepato-vascular difficulties, alcoholism
• Isochromic anemia of the elderly, arterial hypotension, arteriosclerosis, neuro-circulatory problems (dizziness, buzzing and whistling in the ears), hypercholesterolemia

• Impotence and sexual asthenia, some frigidity in women, some functional menstrual problems, urinary incontinence.

• And finally, Drs. Townsend and Morgan of the Minister of Health in Ottawa (Canada) have experiments (1959-1960) that show that cancer cells inoculated in 1,000 mice provokes the death of all the animals by cancer in the next two months, whereas, the same cancer cells, mixed with Royal Jelly and inoculated in the same conditions to 1,000 more mice similar to the first, left them all unscathed.
• This does not mean, of course, that Royal Jelly can cure cancer, it only means that when Royal Jelly is present, the cancer cells of this experiment were not able to develop and provoke illness or death.

The personal physician of Pope Pius XII, Dr. Ricardo Galleazzi Lisi, in April 1956, that he attributed Pope's recovery from long weakening illness in large measure to his taking of Royal Jelly, was encouraging Prince Philip of England, his daughter, Princess Ann and Princess Margaret have been taking Royal Jelly.
